Photography started for me at the age of 9 when my parents surprised me with a Vultron STAR SHOOTER 110 film camera that could take pictures and transform into a walking toy. Just about the best toy I ever had. The enjoyment of photography followed through the years, upgrading my talents and equipment from using my parents 35mm Minolta then eventually owning my own professional 35mm. Through this medium I was able to define my art through nature photography because of my own personal connection with the outdoors being an avid mountain biker and having grown up in the country.
It wasn't until 2010 when photographing engagement photos for my best friend that I found a deeper meaning in my passion that would take me on a journey to share my style of photography with those who are willing to allow me to capture who they are through the eye of my lens.

What inspires me? Living a modest life but always obtaining knowledge.

When I'm not photographing:
I grew up as an athlete so continuing to stay active and healthy is important. Doing activities such as running half marathons, mountain biking and hitting the gym are just a few thing to keep my energy alive and ready to photograph. I also enjoy being with family and friends, relaxing with a movie or a great brew. I'm blessed to have people in my life that are very supportive and are with me 100% of the way. Without their encouragement I might not have made it this far.

My choice of photographing tools:
I use a Canon 5D MKIII for my main camera body. In my lens collection, I come equipped with a Sigma 50mm and Sigma 70-200mm. I started out using Sigma products almost 10 years ago and have never been happier.

Thank you for visiting my artwork and I hope you liked what you saw and perhaps I might hear from you soon.
