I have never done a boudoir photography session before. What should I expect? Do I need to know posing?
No need to worry. If you're new to the experience, we totally understand the nerves that come with it. But, fear not! During your session you'll experience a relaxed, comfortable and judgment-free environment where you can embrace your own unique beauty and personality.
Nobody that comes into the studio knows how to pose but that won’t be a problem at all! Through the years, I've learned how to guide women of all shapes and sizes in posing.. I'll help you feel confident in front of the camera so you can have fun, feel empowered and leave feeling confident and beautiful, both inside and out. So, take a deep breath, let go of your worries, and get ready to feel amazing!
How much does it cost?
The Experience starts at $450 which includes a boutique hotel room at Hotel Winters where the shoot takes place, hair and makeup, and a complimentary bottle of white wine or any other beverage you may prefer. The session also includes 10 digital files with preliminary edits that will be available for download after the photo reveal.
Oh and don’t worry, there are additional packages available that include Wall Art, Prints, and Albums, that we will discuss during your consultation and at the photo reveal.
Where is the Photoshoot located?
I primarily hold photoshoots at a beautiful hotel in Winters, California, called Hotel Winters. They have lovely rooms that are minimally decorated and allow me to keep full attention on you in every photograph, but at the same time provide a great atmosphere to capture many unique shots that will look great in your album.
Along with the hotel, I love to capture boudoir outdoors in places such as Winters, Lake Berryessa, and Rockville Mountain Park in Suisun City. If you’re a little adventurous and love nature, an outdoor shoot is the perfect choice for a boudoir session.
I need to lose 20 pounds before doing a boudoir shoot. Is that ok?
I totally get it, if that is something you want to do, more power to you. Also, I encourage body positivity and value the beauty inherent in all shapes and sizes. If there are parts of yourself that you are learning to love, that is perfectly normal! I am skilled in posing and lighting to make you look your absolute best and bring out your sparkle!
What should I wear? I don't have fancy lingerie.
One of the beautiful things about boudoir is that it’s not always about lingerie. You can simply do a shoot in a bathing suit. jeans and t-shirt, shorts and a tank top, just a tank top or maybe just some socks. Although, I do have to say, lingerie is always a good choice and I‘ve got you covered.

Remember, the best boudoir shoot comes from you being comfortable…then breaking free from comfort.
How long will a boudoir session last?
Be prepared for a few hours of fun.
Hair and makeup can be anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half. The boudoir shoot can last from one and half to two hours.
Can I bring a Friend for support?
I totally get it, having a friend at your boudoir shoot could be a lot of fun and you’re welcome to do so! But, I recommend you consider doing the shoot solo.
Why? Well, it's all about creating the right atmosphere for you to feel your absolute best. With just you and our awesome team, we can focus solely on you and tailor the shoot to your desires. Plus, I promise to make the experience as comfortable as possible - it'll be like hanging out with your besties without the distractions!
So while bringing your bestie may seem like a great idea, trust me when I say that doing it solo will give you the confidence to unleash your inner bombshell and capture the unforgettable photos you deserve.
I don’t know how to pose. Will you be able to help?
I’ve got you covered. Not only will I help you pose, but I can demonstrate the poses myself so you can get an idea of what the pose looks like. And if you’re lucky, you might even get a laugh or two out of it! 😂
Are my images private 🔐
Your images will remain private unless you give us written permission to share them. We may ask for your permission to share your images in our portfolio, but you will never be required or pressured to do so. The decision to share your images is entirely up to you.
